The length of "Angren-Pap" railway line to make 123.1 km

The decision to build a new railway "Angren-Pap" was announced by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 26, 2013 during the extraordinary session of the Council of deputies of Andijan region. On June 18 of that year, the head of state issued a decree "On measures to organize the construction of an electrified railway line" Angren - Pap ", which identified the sources of financing, the list of customers, design and contracting companies. At that SJSRC "Uzbekistan Railways" was defined as an executive body of the project.

Uzbekistan to spend US$10bn to automobile roads and railways construction

Uzbekistan will direct about US$10 billion to development of automobile roads and railways, logistic centers and communication by 2020, the action programme of the Cabinet of Ministers for near and long-term perspective, presented by Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev at the joint session of both chambers of the parliament on 23 January said.
